Listen, Believe, Support (LBS)

LBS is a trauma-informed response training that equips students, faculty and staff with understandable and applicable tools to respond to survivors of sexual violence. By listening, believing, and supporting sexual assault survivors, individuals will be able to positively impact a survivor’s recovery from sexual violence. LBS can be customized to meet the needs of different audiences with  tailored presentations, activities and scenarios.

Bystander Intervention

Participants will learn how to be proactive in helping others in order to prevent sexual or gender-based violence. TCU’s campus-wide sexual violence prevention initiatives will also be discussed. This training is helpful when interacting with people across campus and throughout the global community.

One Love

Founded in 2010 to honor the memory of Yeardley Love, One Love’s mission is to end relationship abuse by educating young people about healthy and unhealthy relationship behaviors and empowering them to be leaders driving change in their communities. Today, One Love is dedicated to changing the statistics – that 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men will be in an abusive relationship,  and that women ages 16-24 are at 3x greater risk – by helping young people get the information Yeardley and her family and friends did not have.

One Love uses powerful, emotionally engaging content as the catalyst to this conversation by opening young people’s eyes to the relevance of this issue in their own lives. One Love’s Escalation Workshop, short #ThatsNotLove videos, and #LoveBetter campaign help people understand how to identify the early warning signs of an unhealthy relationship, help a friend experiencing abuse, and promote healthy relationship behaviors.
