A  trauma-informed response training that equips students, faculty and staff with understandable and applicable tools to respond to survivors of sexual violence. By listening, believing, and supporting sexual assault survivors, individuals will be able to positively impact a survivor’s recovery from sexual violence. Hosted by Community Scholars.

Victory Over Violence Walk/Run

Join TCU CARE in supporting our community partner, The Women’s Center of Tarrant County. Victory Over Violence is an all-ages annual fundraising event benefitting many of The Women’s Center’s  anti-violence initiatives, consisting of a 5K walk/run and 1K fun run. These services give survivors the tools to heal from the devastating effects of sexual assault, child sexual abuse, and other violent crimes, as well as empower the community by providing education centered around these issues.

Stand With Survivors

Come learn about campus and community-partners who support survivors and create items for survivors including care kits, strength bracelets, and more! The partners include TCU CARE, the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office, John Peter Smith Hospital Forensic Nursing Services, The Women’s Center of Tarrant County, Project Beloved, and Phoenix. Two sessions are available at 6:30 PM or 7:15 PM. During this time, you can participate with one or more activities hosted by the various partners.
